Neo-norman style church, on which work began in April 1902, with a budget of £10,000. It opened the following year in two stages: the first part in May and the rest of the building in the October. It is home to the national shrine of Our Lady Of Light. It continued to be developed over the years, getting slightly larger over time, and was eventually consecrated 101 years after the completion and opening of the second part — on 15 October 2004.
